The Anderson's

The Anderson's were established April 24, 2004 with the union of John and Jennifer Anderson. The family grow with Skeeter and Sissy, our wonderful dogs. We love to fish, hunt, go camping  and most of all we enjoy our family and friends. Some of our greatest friends we have met doing what we love. I think Aunt Dee said it best on our wedding day "Being married to John Anderson, everyday will be a new adventure." She was right! Through this web site we hope it will allow you our family and friends to see updates on all of our new adventures.

Our Wedding Day April 24, 2004

Our guests did not know what to expect when they received a wedding invitation like no other. Oh yes, the invitations were beautiful but it contained an insert with the driving directions and the following instructions. "Bring your fishing pole and your appetite" The wedding was fishing from beginning to end. It was a small lake side ceremony on Toledo Bend. We wanted our family to enjoy and never forget our wedding and we hoped that everyone in attendance would not forget this day. It started out very beautiful then it decided to rain.  The rain was putting a damper on our outside wedding.  After the rain resided we moved everyone outside.  As the wedding was about to get started we realized the bride had forgot her bouquet.  Thanks to my Uncle Johnny, who ran back up to the cabin for my bouquet.  John decided to get everyones attention to make an annoucement "Okay everything is for sale, the boat, the 4 wheelers it is all gone." With everyone laughing the bride joined her father on his arm and we began the walk down the aisle.  Our nephew Josh began the walk down the aisle as the ring bearer dressed handsomely in a white shirt and blue jeans rolled up.  He had one of PawPaw Lealon's fishing rods with fishing line and attached was the biggest Bill Lewis Rattle Trap we could find. The treble hooks had been removed and a locking hook that held our wedding rings was attached. The flower girl was Ellie Kate. She dropped pink roses down the aisle so the bride could meet the handsome groom.
